Compactor Options

Options are an essential part of just about any compactor installation. Whether the option is for safety issues, convenience, operation efficiencies or monitoring systems, waste handling equipment can be fitted with a variety of bells and whistles to meet the demands of the application. Options include things such as container fullness measuring systems, usage measurement systems, cycle control systems, power pack options, odor control systems, hoppers, platforms & container guides, doghouses, security chutes, cart dumpers & tippers and steel options.
  • Model 100P - Automatically sends a pick-up request to a pager. Model 100P Brochure

  • Model 300 - Electronically monitors compactors' activity and reports container fullness to a personal computer and automatically sends a pick-up request. Model 300 Brochure
  • Model 250MS - Records how often a compactor is used, controls access to compactor- locking out unauthorized users. Create new accounts, delete accounts, lock-out unauthorized users, generated reports and billing data can be easily accessed from a personal computer. Model 250MS Brochure
  • Key Access Control - An exciting new application of digital chip technology. A chip in a dime-sized holder records usage and controls access to waste compactors. Key Access Control
  • TrashMinder - TrashMinder is the most advanced system available for measuring and reporting container fullness. It also controls and reports container usage. Several models are available, all with special features. Fullness TrashMinder models will send a signal to a fax, pager or computer when containers are full. From one computer, TrashMinder can manage up to 4000 compactors (each with a TrashMinder monitor)! The software generates a range of reports which display compactor status or usage information. The Usage TrashMinder models allow control of compactor access. From a computer, accounts can be added or deleted. On-site, users simply input an ID number or insert a Trash Pass Key to access the compactor. Electronically monitors compactors' activity and reports container fullness to a personal computer and automatically sends a pick-up request.
  • Full Container Light - The Full Container Light option illuminates to indicate when the container is full. The light, which is built into the remote push button station, is activated when the unit reaches normal shutdown pressure and the compactor automatically stops. To reactivate the compactor for normal operation, it is necessary to empty the container and depress the lens cover which deactivates the Full Container Light circuit.
  • Advanced Warning Light - The Advanced Warning Light or 3/4 Full Light, automatically senses the hydraulic system pressure. When the the pressure is within 200 psi of normal shutdown pressure, the light, which is built into the remote push button station, illuminates and the packer continues to operate normally. To deactivate the light, the lens cover is depressed. This option allow time for the hauling service to pick-up the container and provide an empty one without interfering with the user's disposal of waste.
  • Pressure Gauges - A Pressure Gauge option indicates the packer's system pressure and enables the operator to determine when the container is approaching its "packed out" state. It can be mounted adjacent to the compactor's control station or mounted on the power unit if a remote power pack is used. It is furnished with 15' of hydraulic hose. Also available is a Dual Needle Pressure Gauge with a adjustable needle to mark your readings.
